Ciao Firenze!
Our First Adventure was flying to Rome and travelling to Florence. The bus ride was so smooth that we almost all fell asleep.
We were welcomed to Florence with incredible sunshine and warm weather. We took a quick stroll around this historic city and then got ready for dinner.
Dinner was incredible! Our first dinner in Italy was one to remember because of the amazing antipasto and multitude of pizzas. The pizzas were made and cooked right in front of us in their old fashioned wood oven. After we thought dinner was over, fresh salad and potatoes followed. No Italian dinner is complete without gelato, and they did not disappoint.
Taking in the sites and sounds of Florence on our first night was memorable. Now off to bed to rest for our first class tomorrow morning!
